Today is one of my biggest inspirations in LIFE'S Birth Day! Yes I said it Michael Air Jordan. I can only speak on my behalf but when I was a kid growing up in the hood, there were three main things I had to do to make my life complete.
1:Wake up to a phone call from my girl friend, she always called me first thing.
2:have a bowl of Fruity Pebbles with dope gear and a pair of Air Jordans.
3:Watch the Chicago Bulls game in find out a way I can meet MJ when he comes to Denver.
I was the BIGGEST MJ fan! I don't care about how many pairs of Jordans you have or your collection.. I Marz was the biggest Chicago Bulls NC Michael Jordan fan there was. I could never play ball like Mike, but his way of leadership and accomplishing his goals shutting down every negative critic fueled me. The Day he was banned from the NBA for rockin the Air Jordan 1's was a eye opener. It was my first time realizing that there is a such thing as corporate America.
I never understood what any of that meant untill he was fined and shoes were banned from the NBA. Now look what we have created, his shoes are ranked number 2 best selling shoe of all time! POW! Michael beat the odds he was more to me then a basket ball player, he was my mentor, everything I do is because of Michael Jordan. Hard work and dedication pays off. To think MJ was not even picked in the first round draft AND to not make the freshmen team is just insane. I see my self in these same situations, the only difference is my situations are not based around basket ball, they are based around Hip Hop.
SO like MJ I have also lost my father and I have yet to complete my goal in dedicating my first EP The Nebula in memory of my father. We are all on this earth for a reason, Michael Jordan played a HUGE part in human life, on and off the court, I will play my part on the foundation MJ has left for people to learn from. So when you wake up with a temp of 104 and are bitching about life, remember what MJ did.. When people don't like the way you do something... remember what MJ did...and just when you think no one believes in you... do like MJ did and MAKE them believe.

10: This last video still to this day makes me cry. I saw it right after when MJ first ANOUNCED yes ANOUNCED he was retiring from the NBA..It was the first commercial played after his announcement. I could not believe it...One of the saddest feelings I experienced.
Thank GOD he is still alive and healthy to carry his legacy. Michael Jordan you will are truly The Greatest!
