I have a few projects I have been working on the past couple of years with music,art,fashion and music videos. My boy Dent is a local MC here in Colorado and has been a part of the game since his early years as a teen.
I first met Dent through my sister Aura One. She used to go to a youth group at our local church & was getting her foot in the door meeting new MC's Graff writers and B Boys. Long story short she noticed he had some MC skills, she mentioned to me a few times that I needed to meet Dent he was a DOPE MC... So we made it happen, I went to watch him perform at the church he was attending at the time. In my head I;m like yea yea yea... he prob like all these other cats who think they can spit, until I officially heard him,, I was like WOW this little dude is free-styling and has characteristics that made him shine.
Shortly after the show my sister introduced him to me, at the time I was looking for young talent to represent my crew at the time Lordz Of Finesse. Our crew represented the 4 elements of Hip Hop and well considering I was impressed I reached out to Dent and asked if he be in...? The rest is history....
Dent is like a brother to me, he is doing what all hungry starving Hip Hop dads should be doing, representing the gift from God, your talent for your kids. Now as far as this video goes lol... My boy Jaysun is one of my favorite video editors, he and I had worked on some B Boy videos back in the 90's and so he understood my vision and like wise on my end. Dent had called me and was like Yo Marz Jay is coming to Denver and wants to shoot a Denver version for the Sun Showers video u in... the rest is history. I had about one week to come up with a visual, and well you can now watch and see. Hope you enjoy, there are many many more projects in the works as we speak, this is just some more of what we call Graffiti Language.
