I would like to give Family Affair there shine for local blog of the day. Family Affair is one of Colorado's best Lifestyle Clothing/Hair Studio based here in Colorado. They carry the best exclusive lifestyle clothing brands in Colorado. I was first introduced to Family Affair back in the summer 09.
Family Affair is an experience. They are a sneaker boutique and offer clothing from NY, LA, Japan and other fashion capitals that are exclusive to Family Affair, in the entire state of Colorado. Once you complete your outfit, you can get a clean line up from our creative barbers or a new hair color from our experienced stylists. Ultimately, Family Affair serves as the roots for people with similar interests who can come together, help grow as as subculture and expand as a lifestyle.
In 2007, co-owners; Donovan Kahler and Inkham Chanthivong closed a salon in Cherry Creek at the same time that Sanica Chanthivong, Anthony Coleman and Jason Ngo planned to start a sneaker and streetwear boutique. Donovan called Jason and said, “I want to open up another salon. You guys want to open up a boutique. Why dont we do it all under one roof and create the ultimate shopping experience?” We all agreed that it was genius, because in most cases when a person gets a hair cut, it follows with a trip to the mall for new clothes or vice-versa. Family Affair eliminates that trip to the mall and offers exclusive streetwear and sneakers that are not sold at major retailers.
In the summer of 09 I met with store owners Donovan Kahler and Jason Ngo to present one of my first major art shows called Air Marz. We met a few times and came up with a few concepts, but in the end it was a success and a good memory that I will never forget. *Thank You* The Air Marz show was based upon custom shoes, we wanted to introduce Colorado to the lifestyle and what a awesome place to do it at. I would label Family Affair not only one of Colorado's number 1# lifestyle clothing/hair studios, but a part of my family as well. Family Affair has always believed in accomplishing there dreams & at the same time inspiring people to do what they love by showing support and giving the community a dope choice in there unique lifestyle. I give much respect to Family Affair and would like to say thank you for representing Colorado lifestyle at it's best! \\//
